The area was named after Queen Elizabeth, the wife of Emperor Joseph I. Here you will find the Dohány Street Synagogue, the second-largest in the world. The closest shopping malls are the Arena Plaza next to the Eastern Railway Station and Europeum next to Blaha Lujza Square.
